The fuel pump in your car is built to last for nearly the entire life of the vehicle. Issues with the fuel pump are typically due to other components, such as the relay. You can locate the fuel pump relay for a 2003 Chevy S-10 beneath the dashboard's center. This electronic component is a crucial part of most traditional engine vehicles, situated in the engine compartment. Its main role is to regulate the electricity sent to the fuel pump. Damage to the relay often occurs at the connection points. A malfunctioning relay may abruptly cut off power to the fuel pump, leading to engine stalling. Nonetheless, a faulty relay may still enable the vehicle to be restarted.
