In a 2004 Nissan Armada, the fuel pump relay is part of the intelligent power distribution module (IPDM). The relay cannot be replaced individually, so if there are any issues, the entire IPDM must be replaced. The cost for this part typically ranges from $100 to $150. The IPDM is situated on the passenger side of the engine compartment, attached to the firewall. While it is technically possible to replace the relay by dismantling the IPDM, it is a complex process and not recommended. To access the relay, the IPDM has to be removed from the vehicle and disassembled, requiring careful desoldering of the relay from the circuit board.
The fuel pump relay for a 2004 Nissan Armada can be found underneath the passenger side of the vehicle near the floor.
