In a 2001 Honda CR-V, you can find the fuel pump relay in the main fuse panel under the hood. This relay sends power from the battery to the fuel pump. You can easily identify it by checking the fuse panel cover, which lists what each fuse and relay is for. If you find that your fuel pump isn't functioning, the first step is to check this relay for continuity. Another useful troubleshooting step is to remove and replace the relay, which can help reset the fuel pump. Disconnecting power for approximately 5 minutes can also allow the pump to fully reset, potentially resolving any issues.
In front of the battery, underneath the hood, you will find a plastic box that measures 2 inches by 4 inches. The label on top of it reads "pump relay." This plastic box is specific to a 2001 Honda CR-V.
Check behind the glove compartment on the passenger side to find the fuel pump relay in the 2001 Honda CRV.
