In the 2004 Nissan Maxima, you can find the fuel pump relay inside the driver's side cabin. When facing down towards the floor, locate the left kick panel near the door column. Inside a large box, you'll find the ABS control unit, with a smaller box housing the fuse panel. This panel contains the fuel pump relay, along with other relays for ignition and audio. A replacement fuel pump relay can be purchased from Advance Auto Parts for approximately $17, identified by part number R4822P.
