In the 2007 Mercedes E350, the fuel pump relay can be found in the engine bay within a long black fuse box. To access this fuse box under the car's hood, simply raise the hood and secure it in place. On the right side of the engine compartment, there will be a black box that has a visible seam around it. Opening this box will reveal the fuse inside. The back of the box's lid will have a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If this information is not available on the box, it can be found in the car's owner's manual. Once you have identified the necessary fuse, remove it from the box. A functional fuse will have a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections. If this strip is intact, the fuse is in good condition and can be reinserted. If the strip is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. Typically, new fuses are affordable, priced around $10 each.
