To access the alarm fuse in a 2008 Dodge Avenger, start by lifting the hood and locating the hood release lever beneath the headlight control knob on the kick panel. Step out of the car and reach between the grill and the bottom of the hood to release the latch and open the hood. The fuse box is situated to the left of the engine, between the windshield washer fluid reservoir and shock tower. Inside, you will find two 20 amp flat blade fuses that supply power to the alarm system. If the fuse is blown, replace it with a new one of the same amperage rating to ensure proper function.
