Despite what another user has stated, the fuse for the 2006 Chrysler 300's alternator is not located in the #4 slot of the engine compartment fuse panel; that slot is for the horn. Instead, you need to find the starter fuse, which powers the alternator in this model year. Check for a 5A fuse in position #10 and a 20A fuse in position #20 in the engine compartment. If your starter is working fine, it's unlikely that the fuse is the issue. If the problem is isolated to the alternator, a faulty fuse is not the likely cause — you may need to replace the alternator pulley or the alternator itself.
The fuse that controls the alternator in a 2006 Chrysler 300 can be found in the fuse box in the engine compartment. It is located on the passenger side of the engine, specifically in the #4 slot.
I've got the factory service manual, and it doesn't mention anything about an alternator output fuse. It covers everything else, but that particular detail is missing.
