In the 2006 Ford Focus, there are multiple fuse boxes. The fuse box containing the cigarette lighter fuse is located in the passenger compartment, specifically at the lower left part of the driver's side dash. The cigarette lighter fuse is most likely labeled as number 39 in the box. You can confirm this by referring to the diagram on the inside of the box cover. This fuse typically has a 20-amp rating, so make sure to replace it with a fuse of the same amperage. You may find a fuse removal tool and extra fuses on the inside cover of the box. If not, you can use a pair of pliers to carefully remove the old fuse. When inserting the new fuse, press it firmly into place until it clicks securely.
