The BMW F10 runs on a high-pressure fuel pump, with the main fuse for the fuel pump found in the fuse box located in the trunk's cargo area. You can access this fuse box by lifting the carpet on the right side of the trunk. Inside the box's lid, there will be a diagram showing that the fuel pump is powered by plug #75. You'll also find a plug puller in your equipment to easily remove and replace this 20-amp fuse marked "Fuel Pump Control," which is responsible for regulating the electrical power to the fuel pump. Warning signs that the fuse needs replacement include the engine not starting, stalling, or the fuel pump remaining silent when the key is turned to the "on" position. A complete failure of the fuse will prevent the fuel pump from turning on, even though the engine can crank but not start. On the other hand, if the fuse is intermittently failing, the car might stall but then start up later on.
The fuse for the fuel pump in the BMW F10 can be found in the fuse box situated under the vehicle's hood.
My 2011 BMW 520d's fuel pump is not working, so fuel is not flowing through the pipe. What can I do to fix this issue? Thank you.
