In a 2005 Nissan Maxima, you can find the headlight fuse inside the power distribution module in the engine bay. To access it, open the hood of your car and check the passenger side for a black plastic box near the front, behind the headlight assembly or grille. Once you open the lid of the box, you will see various switches, relays, and fuses. Refer to the chart on the lid to identify the headlight fuse. The labels for the headlights will typically include 30 L low, 20 R low, 28 L high, and 27 R high for each headlamp.
There are a pair of fuse boxes in the car. One can be found under the hood, and the other is situated beneath the dashboard just below the steering wheel. The fuse for the headlights is located in the one under the hood.
Inspect underneath the car hood where you will find two boxes. Make sure to examine them thoroughly as they should have a fuse layout diagram printed on them.
