The horn fuse for a 2012 Dodge Avenger can be found in the fuse box. Locate the fuse box by looking to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam or crack on the dash. Use a screwdriver or pry bar to open the fuse box. Inside, you will see a collection of fuses. On the back of the panel you opened, there should be a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not on the back of the panel, you can refer to the owner's manual for the vehicle. Once you identify the fuse you need, simply remove it. Check if the metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact. If it is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. New fuses are affordable, usually costing around $10.
