In the 2017 Nissan Titan, you can locate the trailer fuse in the fuse box under the hood of the car. To access the fuse box, lift the hood and secure it in place. Look for a black box or case on the right side of the engine compartment with a seam around it. Open this case to find the fuse inside. The back of the case lid will have a diagram indicating which fuse serves what purpose. If the diagram is not on the back of the box, you can refer to the car's owner's manual for guidance. Once you identify the necessary fuse, carefully remove it. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two sections of the fuse is intact; if it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinstalled. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, typically costing around $10.
