In a Honda Santa Fe, you can find the OBD-II port under and to the left of the steering wheel. If you're in the driver's seat, there's a panel in front of your right knee that you can remove by pulling on it. The OBD-II port is located at the bottom of the hole where the panel was, above it is the fuse block. The purpose of the OBD-II port is to read and reset stored fault codes in the vehicle's computer system. By connecting a diagnostic scan tool to the port, you can communicate with the computer to identify and diagnose various vehicle issues. The car is equipped with multiple sensors that monitor different functions. Whenever these sensors detect a problem or malfunction, the computer records a fault code. Using a scan tool is the most accurate way to determine the specific issues the vehicle is experiencing.
The obd port on the Hyundai Santa Fe can be found underneath the instrument panel on the driver's side.
The OBD port can be found under the fuse box panel on the left side at the bottom of the dashboard in the 2022 Santa Fe. You don't have to take off the fuse box cover to access it.
