The Idle Air Control valve of the 2007 Honda Odyssey is connected to the throttle body. If your car is stalling due to the air conditioner or you are facing rough idling, the main culprit could be a dirty throttle body or IAC. Car owners have effectively cleared out sludge, dirt, and grime from the throttle body, leading to a smoother idle and proper functioning of the air conditioning. The IAC, which is a part of the vehicle's intake system, regulates the air flow into the engine to maintain the correct air/fuel mixture for efficient combustion. When the IAC is stuck closed, it can cause stalling because it hampers proper sparking. A dirty IAC functions similarly to a closed one. The cost of professional cleaning for this component ranges from $230 to $300.
Hey Christopher J. I'm wondering if the idle air valve is situated inside the manifold, or on the outer left or right side of the intake manifold. Additionally, could you provide me with a description or even better, share a picture of what it looks like?
The 2007 Honda Odyssey's idle air control valve can be found on the intake manifold.
