In 2008, the Honda Fit has an idle air control valve that is easy to locate once you have access to the engine compartment. To get started, head to the front of your vehicle. Use the prop on the side of the engine bay to securely hold up the hood. Take a look inside the compartment and locate the throttle body on the right side of the intake manifold. You'll find the idle air control valve mounted to the intake manifold there. If the valve is faulty, it will need to be replaced, with a new valve costing between $43 and $98. If you have a mechanic replace it, expect to pay an additional $95 to $238 for labor.
