Locating the idle air control valve of a 2006 Hyundai Sonata may pose a challenge, especially for those not familiar with vehicle components. Typically, you can find the idle air control valve positioned near the throttle body on the intake manifold. If you suspect any problems with it, it's best to seek assistance from the dealership or a reliable mechanic. Repairing this component can be costly, averaging around $700 for parts and labor, with the parts alone ranging from $240 to $500.
In the 2006 Hyundai Sonata, you can find the idle air control valve located close to the throttle body on the intake manifold.
My 2006 Hyundai Sonata seems to accelerate on its own when I shift into gear 3.3. I replaced both the throttle body and gas pedal to address the issue. Anyone else experienced a similar problem?
