In the 2016 Chevy Colorado, you can find the jack and tire irons stashed underneath and behind the back seats. The jack stands upright behind the passenger-side rear seatback. Lower the seatback and take out the jack by lifting its cushioned cover and turning it counterclockwise. If you need the tire irons, lift both sides of the rear seats by raising them from the edges. These tools are kept in a long recessed area located at the edge and underneath the seat cushions. You'll have to lift both cushions to access them. Undo the fasteners at each end to release the tools. When raising the vehicle or changing a flat tire, make sure to park in a safe, well-lit area on a flat surface. Refer to the owner's manual for the right lift points.
