For any vehicle, it's likely that the knock sensor will be located near or on the engine block. In the case of the 2015 Ford F-250, you'll find it situated just beneath the intake manifold on the passenger's side. If you need to replace the knock sensor for any reason, keep in mind that you will have to take off the intake manifold first to reach it. The most challenging part of this repair task is removing the intake manifold, but the positive news is that once you have access to the knock sensor, you can easily remove it using a sensor socket. Fortunately, it is a fairly inexpensive component, with off-brand versions starting at around $18 and name-brand options priced around $60.
The knock sensor for the 2015 Ford F250 can be found either on the engine block, cylinder head, or intake manifold, all situated under the hood in close proximity to each other.
