Typically, the low pressure port on a Chevrolet Sonic can be found along the line that runs from the compressor to the evaporator and up to the condenser on the suction side of the system. If you think your system is low on refrigerant, it's simple to add more. Signs that this may be necessary include your air conditioner blowing hot air, or the air alternating between cold and hot. Sometimes, it may blow cold air intermittently and then stop altogether when you activate it.
