The 2014 Kia Soul's mass air flow sensor is situated on the left side toward the rear of the engine compartment within the intake air duct. Spark plugs typically need replacement every 100,000 miles, except for copper ones which should be changed every 30,000 miles. An air filter replacement is recommended every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, while coolant should be replaced every 60,000 miles. Engine issues are common; a loose gasket should be secured, and a loose spark plug could cause problems. Overheating is a serious concern as it may result in fires or even vehicle explosions. Excessive oil consumption may necessitate more frequent oil changes, and any oil leaks must be promptly addressed.
If you pop the hood, you'll find the air filter located on the right side of the engine compartment, not the left.
