In the 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan, there are a total of four oxygen sensors — two upstream sensors and two downstream sensors, with one of each on either side of the split exhaust. When replacing them, make sure to check both before and after each catalytic converter on the exhaust pipe. The upstream sensors are interchangeable with each other, as are the downstream sensors, but remember that upstream and downstream sensors are not the same. One type is pricier than the other, so figure out which one you need to replace along with its specific location before purchasing replacement parts or beginning the repair work.
