In the 2000 CR-V, the OBD-II is located inside the car and is easily accessible. To locate it, first, open the driver's side door and sit in the driver's seat. Direct your gaze towards the steering column in front of you. Look underneath the steering wheel, below the dashboard, to find the port. If the port is malfunctioning, you will need to replace it. Replacement ports can be purchased at most auto parts stores. If they're not available in-store, you can typically place an order. The cost of a new port typically ranges from $8 to $21, depending on the brand and quality.
