The 2008 BMW 528i is equipped with a unique oil measuring system that does not include a traditional dipstick. Instead, there are two alternative methods to check the oil level in the vehicle. One option is to access the oil levels through the vehicle's infotainment screen by navigating to the vehicle settings. The screen will display the oil levels and indicate how full the oil is. Another method is to use the B stalk located near the steering wheel on the left side. By pressing the button, the oil level display will appear on the small red screen in the gauge cluster. BMW has implemented a sealed oil system and opted for a computerized oil reading as a more efficient solution.

There is no dipstick provided for checking your oil level in this particular model. Instead, you can easily monitor the oil level by accessing the information displayed on the digital screen. If the oil level is low, the vehicle will notify you to add a quart of oil.
