The oil filter on your 2019 Buick Encore is located underneath the vehicle, concealed by the splash guard. Once you remove the guard, you will find both the oil pan and the filter. Depending on whether your vehicle has the 1.4 LUV engine or the 1.4 LE2 engine, you will need a specific filter. To determine which engine you have, check the middle letter of your vehicle identification number – 'B' for LUV and 'M' for LE2. For the LUV engine, you should use GM part #55594651 or ACDelco part #PF2257G. For the LE2 engine, opt for GM part #12640445 or ACDelco part #PF64. Amazon sells both filters for around ten dollars each.
