The 2016 Kia Sorento’s oil filter is located inside the engine bay. You can locate it by going to the front of your vehicle and using the prop arm on the passenger side to keep the hood open. Look towards the back of the engine to find the oil filter attached to the engine block on the driver's side. If it's dirty, you'll need to replace it, which can set you back about $30 to $40 for parts alone.
