Where can I find the oil filter on a 2018 Chevy Trax?

Your 2018 Chevy Trax is equipped with a cartridge-style oil filter. To replace it, first find it on the driver's side of the engine. The cap should be easy to spot, but you'll need a 32mm wrench to open it. After removing the cap, set it aside. Use a 15mm wrench to remove the oil drain plug, drain the oil, and take out the old filter. Install the new filter, hand-tighten the cap until you hear the filter click in place, and then use a ratchet to secure it snugly. It's advisable to replace the cap seal O-ring whenever you change the oil filter.
