The location of the oil pressure sensor on the 2003 Cadillac CTS 2.3 can be found at the front of the engine on the lower part of the engine block. Some drivers have experienced problems where the sensor is damaged if the main drive belt breaks and hits the sensor, breaking the plug. Another concern is that the sensor sits low, so driving through deep water can lead to the lower engine end being submerged and causing electrical issues that trigger low oil warnings. If you get a low oil warning, the first step is to immediately park the car on level ground and check the oil level. If it's low, do not turn on the engine until you add more oil.
In your 2003 Cadillac CTS 3.2, the oil pressure sensor is positioned towards the rear and top of the engine compartment, securely fastened to the engine block.
