In the 2007 Lexus GS350, you can locate the oxygen sensors on the exhaust system, both before and after the catalytic converter, on bank one and bank 2. These sensors are easily identifiable as they are screwed into weld-on bungs on the exhaust with wires connected to them. Their function is to analyze exhaust gases to establish the air to fuel ratio, providing crucial data to the engine control unit (ECU) for determining the appropriate amount of air and fuel for the vehicle. If any of these sensors begin to malfunction, you may notice the vehicle running poorly.
