In the 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, you will find several oxygen sensors positioned both before and after your exhaust system components. If your vehicle is equipped with a dual exhaust setup, you can expect a total of four O2 sensors. However, if your vehicle has a single exhaust system that goes from the exhaust manifold through the catalytic converter to the tailpipe, you will have two oxygen sensors. One of these sensors (or two in the case of dual exhaust) will be located close to the exhaust manifold, while the others will be positioned near the catalytic converter on each exhaust pipe. It's important to note that even though all these sensors are categorized as O2 sensors, the upstream and downstream sensors serve distinct functions and have different pricing to reflect that, meaning they cannot be swapped interchangeably.
In the 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, there are a number of oxygen sensors placed towards the back of the engine block, near the cylinder heads, and also on the exhaust system following the catalytic converter.
