To replace the power steering fluid, start by locating the clear plastic container under the hood near the window. Use a pump to remove all the fluid from the container. As the fluid level decreases, turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and then to the other to allow the fluid in the wheel to drain out. Once the container is empty, refill it up to the full line, making sure not to overfill. It may take some time for the wheel to become easier to turn, so test it by driving for about 20 minutes to ensure the process was successful.
