The power steering fluid in the 2017 Hyundai Sonata is housed in the power steering pump. To replace the fluid, start by locating the clear plastic container under the hood near the window. Use a pump to remove all the fluid from the container. As the fluid level decreases, turn the steering wheel from one side to the other to drain the remaining fluid from the system. When the container is empty, refill it with new fluid up to the full line, being careful not to overfill. It may take some time for the steering wheel to become easier to turn, so drive for approximately 20 minutes to ensure that the process was successful.
