The 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 has several fuse boxes, with the one containing the fuse for the power steering located in the power distribution center near the battery in the engine compartment. The specific fuse to look for is F78, which controls both the electric power steering and engine control module. You will need a 10 amp fuse for replacement, which you can verify using the diagram found inside the cover of the box. While you can opt to have the fuse replaced professionally, it is a straightforward task once you locate the fuse box. There may be a plastic fuse removal tool included in the cover, but if not, you can use pliers to remove the old fuse. Simply insert the new fuse into the empty slot until it clicks into place. Test the power steering to confirm it is functioning properly; if not, you may have an underlying issue requiring attention.
The power steering fuse on the 2015 Ram 1500 is conveniently located close to the battery.
I'm curious about its location, so I'll go check it out. Thank you!
In all Chrysler vehicles made in the 5th generation, you can find the primary fuse link inside the engine bay fuse box. For more information, watch this video: https://youtu.be/ARGXFdE-t8M
