The spare tire in the 2009 Honda Odyssey is positioned behind the driver's seat beneath the floor carpet. Initially, push the driver's seat forward as much as possible. Then, lift the floor carpet at the back of the driver's seat to access the spare wheel cover, which can be raised to reach the spare tire. This cover may include a cord and hook to help keep it lifted while you remove the spare wheel. The Odyssey comes with a bag to store the flat tire and possibly a right-angle bracket that can be used to prop up the old wheel behind the back row when the last row is folded down.
