The spare tire of the Mitsubishi Outlander is stored beneath the vehicle and is a compact wheel designed for temporary use until the original tire is fixed or replaced. It's important to drive at speeds no higher than 50 mph when using it, and the tire pressure should be at 60 psi. Regularly check the pressure to ensure the spare is ready for use when necessary. The jack kit is located behind a panel in the cargo area on the right side of the vehicle. Twist the jack counterclockwise to detach it. A hex nut, situated to the right of the cargo door latch, is used to lower the spare tire. Remove a plastic cover to access it, then use the lug nut wrench to turn the nut counterclockwise and take off the spare tire.
