The speed sensor in the 2012 Nissan Versa is located on the back end of the transmission near the firewall, directly beneath the rear of the engine. If these sensors do not provide a proper speed signal, the transmission control module may have trouble shifting gears correctly, leading to rough or faster-than-usual gear shifts. Since these sensors monitor both input and output shaft speeds, they are also involved in overseeing the cruise control system. Failure of the sensors to provide precise information to the vehicle's computer can prompt the powertrain control module (PCM) to send an error code to the engine control unit (ECU). In a safety measure, the ECU will deactivate the cruise control when this happens.
Could you tell me the number of speed sensors that the 2012 Nissan Versa has?
In the 2012 Nissan Versa, you can find the engine speed sensor towards the front of the engine, specifically on the lower left side close to the transmission flange.
I purchased this Versa and I really enjoy it when it's running smoothly, haha. I've tried replacing pretty much every part, but sometimes it just won't go faster than 20 miles per hour.
Where can I find this place on CVT? 2012 Versa SV... Appreciate it
