In the 2013 Buick Verano, you'll locate the starter below the engine bay near the driver's side by the left bank of cylinders. Removing the starter can be a bit challenging as it requires taking out the air filter assembly, motor, battery tray, and water hose heater. Be sure to disconnect the starter wires. The nuts for releasing the heater tubing are situated behind the plastic air vent below the turbo. Replacement starters can cost between $65 and $120, depending on whether it's an OEM or aftermarket part.
The starter for a 2013 Buick Verano is positioned at the bottom of the motor block.
