Look at the base of the engine bay below the motor; the starter will be situated to the left of the transmission housing. If the starter malfunctions, it will require replacement, costing between $85 and $245 for the part alone. Opting for a mechanic to replace it will add on an additional $210 to $385 for labor charges.
