In the 2011 Dodge Avenger, the starter relay can be found within the TIPM (totally integrated power module) located in the engine compartment fuse box. If you're adept with electrical work, you might be able to disassemble the TIPM and remove the relay pins from the circuit board. However, in many cases, it's simpler to just replace the fuse box. The price of a new TIPM can vary from just under $200 to nearly $400. If you opt to have a professional handle the replacement, expect labor costs of around $50 to $75 per hour. The TIPM can be located on the passenger side of the engine compartment, situated between the windshield washer reservoir and the shock tower.
