You can find the location of the thermostat for a 2002 Chevy Malibu by watching this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEcPHjT7Nbg. Various engine issues may arise, such as spark plug dislodgement leading to engine problems, loose gaskets that must be promptly tightened, and oil leaks that should be addressed promptly. Engine overheating is a serious concern that could result in fires and even explosions. Excessive oil consumption may necessitate more frequent oil changes. It is recommended to change the coolant every 60,000 miles, replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, and swap out spark plugs every 100,000 miles unless they are copper, in which case they should be replaced every 30,000 miles.
The thermostat for the 2002 Chevy Malibu can be found at the back of the engine.
