In a 2011 Dodge Nitro with a 3.7L engine, you can find the thermostat under the hood of the car. First, pull the hood release lever and go outside to raise the hood. Look towards the radiator and locate the lowest hose connecting to the engine. Follow this line to find the thermostat. If you need to replace it, you can expect to pay between $25 and $50 for a new thermostat from the original equipment manufacturer.
