Alright, so the throttle position sensor in the 2012 Jeep Wrangler is actually integrated into the throttle body itself and can't be fixed or swapped out separately. Basically, you'd need to either refurbish the whole throttle assembly or install a new one. If you choose to replace it, you can purchase the appropriate part online under the code J121656 for about $185 plus free shipping. And the good thing is that it comes with a warranty. It's a pretty straightforward process to switch out by yourself. However, be sure to confirm that the problem you're facing is actually with the throttle and not another part of the engine before taking this step.
The throttle position sensor for the 2012 Jeep Wrangler can be found on the top of the engine, right next to the air intake.
