The 2009 Nissan Altima could have a traction control button, depending on your specific trim level and configuration. Traction control may not be included in all '09 Altima models, but if your car is equipped, you'll probably find the button on the center console with an icon of a car and two squiggly lines. By default, traction control will be activated. Pressing the button will turn off this feature. While traction control can help prevent wheel slippage on the road, it may also be risky when disengaging on inclines. It's important to use the button cautiously and judiciously, only when needed.
The traction control button for the 2009 Nissan Altima can be found on the left side of the dashboard by the driver's seat.
