On your 2005 Dodge Magnum, the transmission control module (TCM) can be found to the left of the steering wheel next to where the door closes near the dash. You can access it by taking off the trim pieces in the door jam, which are secured by two pressure clips that allow you to pull them straight out. Once the trim is removed, you'll see two screws - one near the climate control knob and the other in line with the hood release. Remove these screws, then take off the entire panel to reveal the TCM. The TCM is secured by two harnesses that you'll need to unclip along with the wires to fully remove it.
Since the battery is located in the trunk, I don't think it's likely.
The battery is located in the back of the car in the trunk.
You can locate the 2005 Dodge Magnum TCM in the engine compartment, at the rear of the engine block close to the battery.
