If you're looking to locate the turn signal relay on your 2006 Chevy Silverado, you've found the right place. The turn signal relay can be found underneath the hood, specifically near the battery. Its main function is to supply power to the turn signals, allowing the lights to activate when you use the signal lever to indicate left or right turns. In instances where a tail light isn't working, it's usually due to a burnt-out bulb. If the bulb is still functional, it would be wise to inspect the fuse or relay as a next step.
The turn signal relay in a 2006 Chevy Silverado can be found beneath the steering column inside the vehicle.
For a 2006 Chevy Silverado, you can find the Flasher Relay behind the knee panel, located just below the steering wheel. Look for it to the left of the BCM/Body Control Module. Be careful not to disturb any wires or create tension where there wasn't any before to avoid issues with the BCM. Best of luck!
