If you own a 2013 Dodge Avenger and are searching for the location of the voltage regulator in your car, you can locate it in the engine bay. To find it, stand in front of your vehicle, and prop open the hood securely using the arm on the passenger side of the engine compartment. Look inside the bay to locate the alternator, which will be positioned next to the starter and to the left of the transmission. The voltage regulator is attached to the alternator. Should you need to replace it, you can expect to pay anywhere from $30 to $124 for the parts alone.
