Locating the oil pressure switch on a 2007 Honda Pilot VTEC can be tricky. It's positioned on the upper rear side of the engine, accessible by opening the hood. Once you find the oil pressure switch next to the VTEC solenoid, check that it's an open switch near the VVT solenoid. When the VTEC oil pressure switch is closed, the voltage should go down to zero, indicating oil pressure to the VTEC system. If there's an issue with the system, the ECM might generate an error code, each code requiring a specific diagnosis for resolution.
It's installed close to the third cylinder, where you can find the third spark plug. It's a small aluminum block with two sensors connected to it.
On a 2007 Honda Pilot with VTEC, you can find the oil pressure switch at the back of the engine, near the top.
