The water pump in your 2000 Honda CR-V can be found under the timing belt cover on the driver's side under the hood. You will need to remove the timing belt cover and the timing belt before accessing it. To replace the water pump, loosen and remove the five bolts holding it in place. It may just need cleaning and new seals, but if you are buying a new water pump, expect it to cost around $52 at auto parts stores.
