You can locate the battery of a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid under the hood. To access it, enter the vehicle from the driver's side and activate the switch to release the hood. Lift the hood up and release the safety latch holding it in place. When the hood is open, locate the large black box with a cover in the front right section. Lift the cover to reach the battery.
