The 2005 Chrysler Sebring comes with an EGR valve installed according to the manufacturer's specifications. The valve is located on the back left cylinder head and is connected to the intake manifold. EGR, or exhaust gas recirculation, helps control nitrogen emissions in vehicles by reducing oxygen levels in the combustion chamber. You can clean the valve if it gets dirty, as it does not need to be reused multiple times. If a replacement is necessary, an OEM EGR valve could cost around $30 to $60, while an aftermarket option may vary in price.
The egr valve in the 2005 Chrysler Sebring can be found at the rear of the cylinder head, near the transmission.
