The 2010 Buick LaCrosse factory amplifier is located behind the main console dash. If the amplifier or speakers are not functioning, you should examine the fuse box. Locate the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel by searching for a small seam or crack along the dash. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open it. Inside, you will find several fuses. On the back of the panel you opened, there should be a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If this diagram is not present, consult the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the fuse you need and remove it. Check if the thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact. If the strip is broken, the fuse is defective and must be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still good and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, usually costing around $10.
